01 / Introduction

Brief. Shaping the Future of Milking.

A milk milking machine design is required for animals such as cows, sheep, and goats. User analysis should be conducted to address existing problems and develop suitable solutions. The design must be manufacturable with current production methods and tailored to the target audience.

This project addresses various problems encountered in the design of dairy cow milking machines and solutions to these issues. The space utilization problem has been solved by positioning the main body, vacuum pump, vacuum tank, and milk jug in a vertical arrangement. This approach reduces the machine's footprint, making it easier to transport and store.

03 / Project Guidelines

Objectives and Guidelines. Seamless Integration.

Since an oil vacuum pump is used in the project, it was necessary to place a compartment with two layers inside the outer shell. The design was made with a vertical form rather than horizontal to minimize space usage.

To allow the hot air generated by the vacuum pump to escape, air vents were incorporated into the front surface of the design. The direction of the air vents is not placed at the back to prevent discomfort to the user’s foot from the heat. Since the product is used at a slight angle, the vents are positioned on the front surface rather than the sides. To avoid issues like dirt accumulation caused by the cable being scattered, a specific area for cable storage has been identified. This area is located just below the handle, the part closest to the user.

Asepti Pro Unit. Absolute Hygiene.

Compared to its competitors, the Asepti Pro Unit is the first to offer a specially designed area for both the preservation and cleaning of the milking claw, setting it apart in the market.

04 / Layout Architecture

Space Occupation. Vertical Innovation.

The main body of this milking machine incorporates the vacuum pump, vacuum tank, and milk container. This main body has a base area of 40 cm x 40 cm and a height of 115 cm. It is positioned in a vertical form, which reduces the machine's footprint and makes it easier to transport.

The vacuum pump, vacuum tank, and milk container are also positioned vertically, which further reduces the machine's base area and increases its height. The vertical form facilitates the transport and storage of the machine and also allows for the height of the milk container to be adjusted.

05 / Ergonomic Elevation

Ergonomic Elevation. Better Working Position.

Kärcher® Lactomini X positions the milk jug 50 cm above the ground, reducing the need for bending. This design makes lifting the 30 L jug easier, reducing effort and increasing efficiency for the user.

06 / Component Shielding

Motor Shielding. Maximum Durability.

Stakarts® Lactomini X protects the milk motor from external factors, ensuring long lasting and safe operation. Its design isolates the motor from dust, dirt, moisture, temperature changes, and animal waste, improving performance and reducing maintenance needs.

As a result, the milking process becomes more efficient and hygienic, and the machine's lifespan is extended. Lactomini X offers an effective solution for protecting the milk motor, making it a safe and durable alternative for milking machines.
